A certain large Dutch Beer Brewery was asked to be the main sponsor of a community website for people interested in nightlife, restaurants, bars and nightclubs in The Netherlands.

Advertising Agency 105 based in Rotterdam (The Netherlands), asked Freelance Senior Designer Michiel Nagtegaal to provide a visual design for this online community.

The idea behind the project was to become one of the largest online communities and a valuable source of information for all Dutch people going out.

Art direction and Visual Design
This large Dutch Beer brand uses a dark green in all their communications. Therefor it was a obvious choice to have this color in the background.

Furthermore nightlife has a certain 'shinyness' and glitter. By adding reflections and gradients to the design a visual reference to lights is made. Agency 105 provided a Functional / Interaction Design which left little room for large inspirational visuals which is why the designs lack these visual elements.
